Jen Lyall
Jen Lyall has spent her professional life furthering and refining her ceramic practice. After completing high school, she began training in the ceramic arts - first as a studio apprentice followed by tertiary study at The University of Sydney and then at the ceramics department of The National Art School.
A recent project has been the construction of a wood fire kiln on her property in semi-rural NSW. This has allowed her to explore and experiment with the traditional wood firing technique. Jen has over thirty years experience in the areas of wheel forming, hand building and the skills necessary for a successful ceramics practice. She exhibits her work regularly and for the past 10 years she has been teaching ceramics across a range of venues, from schools and community centres to the Sydney Ceramics Studios. @jenlyallceramics |
