
Robert Stow
Robert has a fine arts background, having studied at the Hunter Institutes' Hunter Street Art School, and also at the University of Newcastle.
His specialties are painting and drawing, but he is also adept at photography and printmaking. He ran drawing workshops at the inaugural Big Draw event at Macquarie University in 2003 and again in 2004. He has taught drawing for a private college for several years.
He has taken part in many group shows, and was selected as a finalist in the Olive Cotton Photography Portrait Prize. He has been the recipient of prizes for both painting and drawing. His work is held in private collections.
He has worked extensively in the manufacturing industry, and holds a graduate certificate in surface coatings technology.
He is keen to explore and to push the boundaries of print and ceramics.
