Riti Malik
Riti Malik, a Sydney-based Ceramic Artist, previously worked as a Graphic Designer in India from 2002. Upon relocating to Australia in 2015, Riti sought a fresh artistic endeavor, leading her to enroll in the Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Visual Arts (Ceramics) at TAFE, Hornsby. She graduated in 2021.
Driven by a passion for hands-on creative expression and a commitment to continual exploration, Riti embraces the tactile nature of clay to craft her art. Her work reflects the intricate balance of natural connections and surprising contradictions, informed by her personal experiences.
Riti is particularly drawn to Porcelain, captivated by its dichotomy as a delicate yet challenging material. She creates lightweight, intricate pieces with a distinct sense of grace.
Riti's art has been showcased in numerous group exhibitions and can be found in both private and corporate collections.
